SimpL raises €1.2m pre-seed for pay-per-meeting B2B sales AI

6 October 2026: SimpL, a Milan start-up that builds an AI operating system for business-to-business sales, has raised a €1.2 million pre-seed round led by Techshop Capital. Vento Ventures and a group of angel investors also took part.

Not yet independently verified. The company's release gives the amount without a currency symbol; we read it as euros, as Tech.eu reports. Customer numbers and results are not stated by the company. We will update this when it can be confirmed, and remove this note.

The company says the money will go into product development, strengthening the technology and growing the team. It has opened a space in Milan called SimpL House, modelled on the hacker-house idea, to bring research, product and commercial work under one roof and to attract talent.

SimpL tries to answer three questions for a sales team: which companies to contact, when, and with what message. It reads public data such as job postings, company pages and news, without buying data from outside providers, and organises it in a proprietary knowledge graph linking companies, people and interactions. Deep-learning models then estimate which decision-makers are most likely to respond, at what moment and on which channel.

Once connected to a customer's email, CRM and calendar, the system starts contact and manages the conversation through to a meeting. SimpL says it decides each step from how the other person responds, with no fixed message sequences, and learns from every outcome, including negative ones.

The pricing is the unusual part. Customers pay only for qualified meetings that actually take place, with no per-user subscriptions and no upfront fees. SimpL argues that this replaces the separate subscriptions many sales teams hold for data, outreach tools and automation. The company sells only through its own product.

SimpL was founded by Nicolò Fugallo, Raffaele Scarano and Luca Marco Agnoli, and describes itself as active since 2025.

Fugallo, the chief executive, said the difference is that "we do not sell another piece of software to add to the sales tools companies already use, but an integrated process that learns from every interaction".

Giovanni Strocchi, partner at Techshop Capital, said SimpL shows where B2B software is heading: vertical solutions built on proprietary data and AI with an outcome-based model. Techshop's investment is supported by the Digital Transition Fund of CDP Venture Capital SGR, funded through NextGeneration EU.
