OneByZero raises US$20 million Series A led by Jungle Ventures for enterprise AI agent deployment

5 October 2026 — OneByZero (OBZ), a Singapore-headquartered company that builds and runs AI agents inside large enterprises, announced on 5 October 2026 that it has raised US$20 million in a Series A round. The company says this is its first external funding.

The round

US$20 million, Series A, as stated in the company's announcement. The round is led by Jungle Ventures; the announcement names no other investors. OneByZero says it will use the money in four ways: expanding its forward-deployed engineering teams in the nine markets where it operates, opening in Japan with a local team, moving beyond financial services and telecommunications into conglomerates, healthcare and the public sector, and investing in its NEO platform and what it calls AI Coworkers.

What the company does

OneByZero combines software with engineers who work on site with clients. Its NEO platform is a governance and orchestration layer for AI agents that run inside a customer's own systems, under that customer's rules and with human oversight. The company says it builds and deploys on Amazon Web Services. Its agents automate work in sales, customer operations, data engineering, recruiting and financial-services processes. The company says it has spent three years deploying AI inside large and heavily regulated enterprises across financial services and telecommunications. It operates in Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, the United States and Vietnam. Niket Vaidya is chief executive and co-founder, and Vibhore Kumar is chief technology officer and co-founder.

Why it matters for buyers

For regulated enterprises, governance and data residency are often the main obstacles to putting AI agents into production. OneByZero's pitch is that agents run in the customer's own environment with controls the customer sets. The round adds a well-funded regional option alongside global consultancies and software vendors for enterprises that want agents deployed with engineering support rather than as a self-service product.

What to check

  • Where the agents and their data run: in your own cloud account, as the company describes, or partly on the vendor's infrastructure, and in which regions.
  • What the NEO governance layer records: which actions an agent took, on whose authority, and how a human can stop or reverse them.
  • How much of the delivery depends on the vendor's forward-deployed engineers, and what that means for cost and for running the system without them.
  • Which foundation models the agents use, and the terms that apply to your data under each.
  • References from deployments in your own sector and market, since the company's track record is concentrated in financial services and telecommunications.
