Desible.ai raises ₹32 crore to scale voice AI for banks

7 October 2026: Desible.ai, a Bengaluru voice AI company that sells to banks, financial services firms and insurers, says it has raised ₹32 crore in a Seed Plus round from Prime Venture Partners. The startup trade site Entrackr reports that Prime led the round and that the existing investor Invention Engine took part. The company's own announcement names Prime only.

Not yet independently verified. The company page carries no date, and the figures on deployments differ between the page and Entrackr. Investor roles, founders and customer counts come from Entrackr only. We will update this when it can be confirmed, and remove this note.

Desible.ai operates under the registered name Basal Analytics. It builds agents that carry out phone and messaging conversations for regulated businesses, and its announcement puts the emphasis on what follows a call: the workflow that is triggered, the integration with a client's systems, and the monitoring of what the agent did. "The real measure of voice AI is not how natural the conversation sounds, but what happens after it," the company writes.

According to the announcement, the money will be used to:

  • improve agent performance so that it holds up in real use
  • strengthen enterprise security and compliance
  • speed the move from workflow design to production
  • extend voice AI across Indian languages and banking, financial services and insurance workflows

The company says its agents handle millions of calls a day in live deployments and that it complies with SOC 2, ISO, AES 256 and India's Digital Personal Data Protection standards. Entrackr gives different figures, citing the company: more than 40 institutions as clients, over 25 agentic workflows and more than one crore customer engagements a month across voice, WhatsApp, SMS and email. The use cases it lists are collections, lead qualification, renewals, claims intimation, welcome calling and cross-selling. Entrackr names the founders as Uttam Tiwari and Omkar Raikar and dates the company to 2025.

For lenders and insurers weighing call automation, our call management category lists the established contact centre products this kind of agent would replace or sit beside. The announcement gives no valuation and no earlier round.
