5 October 2026: TextYess, a Milan company that sells an AI-driven customer relationship management platform to online shops, says it has raised €4 million in a seed extension led by Italian Founders Fund. The existing investors VC Partners and Entourage also took part, and the company puts its total funding at more than €7 million.

Not yet independently verified. The round is described in the company's own announcement and a trade summary that repeats it; no investor statement was found. We will update this when it can be confirmed, and remove this note.

The money goes to two things, according to the company: a bigger AI team to improve what it calls its Autonomous CRM and the agents that operate it, and an international launch that starts with the UK market.

TextYess was founded in 2023 by Riccardo Russo and Edvaldo Gjonikaj. It began in 2024 with WhatsApp AI agents that handled customer service and recovered abandoned sales, then widened into a full CRM. The product builds one customer profile from orders, conversations and browsing behaviour. AI agents then look for sales opportunities, build audience segments, write campaigns and send them by email, WhatsApp and on the website.

The company says it works with more than 350 ecommerce brands, naming Ducati, Veralab and Pittarosso. It says the system gains independence step by step: at first it proposes actions for a human team to approve, and it takes on more of the work as results justify it.

Russo describes the idea in two lines of the announcement. "We're building both: the CRM, and the AI agents that run it for them," he says, arguing that brands know what their marketing needs but lack the people to carry it out. He also sets out where the company wants to go next: "CRM is where we start, but the same system and the same agents can run much more of ecommerce marketing: paid ads, search, social, the website."

The pitch is a CRM that does the campaign work itself rather than a database that staff must operate. Our CRM category lists the established products TextYess competes against, and our marketing automation category covers the email and messaging tools it overlaps with.

The announcement does not give revenue, customer retention or pricing, and the company has not said when the UK launch will begin. An earlier seed round is not detailed in the release beyond the cumulative €7 million figure.
