Automation Anywhere agrees to buy Boost.ai from Nordic Capital
7 October 2026: Automation Anywhere has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Boost.ai, a conversational and voice AI vendor, from the private equity firm Nordic Capital. No price has been published. Closing needs customary regulatory approvals and other conditions, and the company expects it in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Until it closes, the two remain separate companies and existing Boost.ai contracts are unchanged. The release describes no pricing, service-level or product-retirement commitments, only intended benefits: Boost.ai customers would gain access to Automation Anywhere's agentic automation and orchestration platform, pre-built agentic solutions it says can be deployed in as little as a week, and forward-deployed engineers for transformation projects.
Boost.ai says it supports more than 36 languages and reports a resolution rate above 90 percent in production deployments. It says its core customers are in regulated industries, mainly financial services, telecommunications and insurance, with its strongest base in Europe. It holds an independent SOC 2 report and aligns its security and privacy measures with GDPR and HIPAA. SiliconANGLE, citing the company, reports more than 650 deployments and over 150 million automated conversations.
The purchase follows Automation Anywhere's acquisition of Aisera in late 2025. SiliconANGLE reports the plan is to merge both into one offering covering customer operations across voice, chat and digital channels, employee requests for IT, finance and HR, and business processes such as ERP and CRM.
Mihir Shukla, Automation Anywhere's CEO and chairman, said the acquisition "will take our market-leading offering to the next level". Boost.ai's CEO Jerry Haywood said conversational and voice AI can operate at enterprise scale.
Customers of either vendor can reasonably ask three things before the close: which Boost.ai products and hosting regions stay on the roadmap, whether current contract terms and data processing agreements carry over, and what happens to renewal pricing once the platforms are combined. The release does not answer them.
Our conversational AI platform software category lists eight products, and the robotic process automation software category lists 22.
