Reduck raises $3m pre-seed so AI agents can run browser scripts

22 October 2026: Reduck has raised a $3 million pre-seed round led by Daphni, with Drysdale Ventures and Galion.exe taking part, for a service that gives AI agents ready-made browser automation scripts to call as tools instead of clicking through websites screen by screen. The company says its approach makes agents three times faster and cheaper on average across the tasks it tested.

Not yet independently verified. The round rests on Reduck's own announcement; we found no post from Daphni, and the company does not name the city it is based in. We will update this when it can be confirmed, and remove this note.

Scripts instead of screenshots

Many sites an agent needs, from supplier portals to internal CRMs, have no API or MCP server. Agents that operate a browser by looking at screenshots can get through them, but Reduck lists the costs: minutes of clicking for a job that should take seconds, every screenshot added to the model's context and billed, and a different path on each run that becomes less reliable as the context fills.

Reduck MCP lets an agent discover, run and create deterministic scripts for a site, so a task such as downloading invoices from five vendors or exporting profiles from LinkedIn Sales Navigator runs as a single tool call. Its official library holds more than 1,200 ready-to-run scripts across over 250 websites, and the company says it runs an agent swarm that writes and repairs scripts at scale. Customers quoted on the announcement describe monthly invoice collection dropping from five hours to half an hour, and a Sales Navigator export that took an afternoon finishing in two minutes.

The team's earlier exit

Reduck describes itself as a French-American start-up built by three repeat founders. Chief executive Daniel Huynh and chief operating officer Raphaël Millet co-founded Mithril Security, which was acquired by H Company; before that sale Mithril released LaVague, an open-source AI web agent. Chief technology officer Louis Abraham co-founded the encryption platform Secrecy and met the other two at H Company, where he led the agent production team. The round has taken the team to eight people.

What the money builds next

Reduck plans to keep extending the reliability and size of its script library, to launch a developer offer for teams building agent harnesses around systems without APIs, such as insurance and healthcare portals and custom internal CRMs, and to build vertical apps on its scripts, starting with generative engine optimisation. Scripted automation of third-party sites also carries a question buyers should settle first: whether each site's terms allow automated access, which Reduck's announcement does not address. Our robotic process automation software category lists 20 products, the older answer to the same problem of systems with no API.
