The Palo Alto company came out of stealth in December 2025 with a $46m seed and Series A, and says its model runs simulations up to 1,000 times faster than conventional tools.

Vinci raises $250m Series B for AI chip and hardware simulation

6 October 2026: Vinci, a Palo Alto software company that simulates the physics of chips and electronic hardware, has raised a $250 million Series B at a $1.5 billion valuation. Co-founder and chief executive Hardik Kabaria announced the round in a post on the company's blog, which says the money will fund wider physical coverage, more capable agentic engineering workflows, deeper integrations with customers' systems, and people and computing infrastructure.

Not yet independently verified. The company names its investors only as logos on its site, and its post does not say who led the round. Speed claims are the company's own and have not been independently verified. We will update this when it can be confirmed, and remove this note.

The company sells what it calls Continuous Physics Reasoning: engineers test a design change against thermal, thermo-mechanical and convective fluid behaviour while the design is still moving, instead of waiting for a separate simulation run at the end. Vinci says its platform combines a Foundation Model for Physics with GPU-native physics kernels, returns deterministic, solver-accurate results at manufacturing resolution, and works on new designs without customer-specific training. It says analyses that once took hours or days finish in minutes, and its site claims simulations up to 1,000 times faster than conventional tools.

Semiconductors are the first target. Vinci says the product is already running on production engineering programs. Kabaria writes that the same need exists for vehicles, aircraft and satellites, which the company hopes to reach later.

The Next Web reports that the round comes less than a year after Vinci emerged from stealth. In December 2025 it announced a $46 million raise made up of a seed round led by Eclipse and a Series A led by Xora, a venture firm backed by Temasek. The company's site shows the logos of Advent, Eclipse, Khosla Ventures, Madrona, Temasek and Xora as backers of the Series B.

Vinci is entering a field where electronic design automation vendors already sell simulation tools, so buyers comparing options will want to run the speed and accuracy claims against their own boards and packages.

The company's post gives the round size and valuation, and no revenue or customer count.
