IT services filings on 1 October 2026: Wipro completes the Alpha Net contracts deal, Loihde completes BLC Turva and withdraws guidance, Avensia cuts staff
1 October 2026 — Three listed IT services companies filed changes on 1 October 2026 that matter to their customers: one acquisition of customer contracts, one acquisition of a security company, and one round of staff cuts. Each is taken from the company's own stock-exchange filing. Where a price is given, it is the price the company itself states.

Wipro takes over selected Alpha Net Consulting contracts
Wipro, the Indian IT services group, told the Indian and New York stock exchanges on 1 October 2026 that its subsidiaries have completed the acquisition of "select customer contracts of Alpha Net Consulting LLC and its subsidiaries". The agreement was signed on 14 April 2026, and Wipro's letter of 30 September had expected completion by 31 December 2026. The filing gives a purchase consideration of "up to US$ 69.7 Million, subject to customary closing adjustments", including a deferred earnout that depends on performance conditions. The filing does not name the customers or describe Alpha Net's services.
For Alpha Net customers whose contracts moved: your supplier is now a Wipro company. Check who your contract counterparty is, whether your account team and delivery locations stay the same, and whether your data-processing terms now include Wipro group entities.
Loihde completes BLC Turva and withdraws its 2026 guidance
Loihde, the Finnish security and digital-services company, completed its purchase of the whole of BLC Turva Oy, a security technology company, on 1 October 2026. The deal was announced on 5 November 2025 and needed approval from Finland's Competition and Consumer Authority, whose conditions included selling parts of the business in three regions, with revenue below EUR 10 million in total. Loihde calls it the largest acquisition in its history. It gives a debt-free price of EUR 28 million: about EUR 7.5 million paid in 644,000 new Loihde shares at EUR 11.69 each, and about EUR 20.5 million in cash. The seller, Savonlinnan BLC-osuuskunta, becomes Loihde's largest shareholder with about 10%.
In a separate profit-warning notice the same morning, Loihde withdrew its guidance for 2026. It says it had limited access to BLC Turva's financial and operating information during the long competition review, so it cannot yet give accurate guidance. It also says its business before the acquisition is developing as planned, that its cost-synergy target of over EUR 3 million is unaffected, and that it will give 2027 guidance in early 2027.
For BLC Turva customers: expect integration into Loihde. Ask whether your service contract, monitoring centre, technicians and response times stay the same, and whether your region is one of those being divested to another owner.
Avensia Commerce cuts staff to save SEK 13 million a year
Avensia, the Swedish e-commerce consultancy listed on Nasdaq First North, said on 1 October 2026 that its subsidiary Avensia Commerce is running a savings programme expected to save about SEK 13 million a year, including a planned reduction in staff. It does not say how many roles are affected. The one-off cost of about SEK 5 million, for salaries and related costs during notice periods, falls in the third quarter of 2026. The company blames a continuing tough market. Its chief executive says it will keep investing in AI and in widening its business into related areas.
For Avensia clients: ask whether your project team or support arrangement changes, and get any named people or delivery dates in your statement of work confirmed.
What to check when a supplier changes
- Who is the contracting party now, and do prices, service levels and termination rights carry over?
- Which people and locations deliver your service after the change?
- Do your data-processing terms change? A new owner often means new group sub-processors.
- Put a review date in the calendar three months after the change, when integration plans usually land.
