Deepslate raises 7.7 million euro for European speech-to-speech voice AI
Berlin voice-AI company Deepslate announced a EUR 7.7 million round on 1 October 2026, led by 42CAP, to train European speech-to-speech…
Deepslate provides an enterprise voice AI platform built on its own speech-to-speech model hosted in the EU.
Deepslate offers an enterprise voice AI platform built around its own speech-to-speech model, which the company says responds in about 440 milliseconds in 27 languages. Rather than chaining separate speech-to-text, language model and text-to-speech components, one realtime model handles the conversation, with server-side voice activity detection and native handling of interruptions. Developers can sign up for free, receive starter credits, choose a template such as an insurance FAQ, sales qualifier or energy provider agent, and talk to it in the browser before connecting a phone number by SIP or building with the SDK. Integration options include plugins for LiveKit and Pipecat, Python and Node SDKs, WebSocket, WebRTC and SIP. The company emphasises European data protection, offering GDPR compliance through self-hosting or EU-based cloud hosting, and describes the product as AI made in Germany. Its site names investors 42CAP, Alstin Capital and SIVentures and announces a 7.7 million euro funding round together with a per-minute release offer. A live demo can be reached by phone around the clock, and pages cover product, security, solutions, developers and resources.
