RapidCanvas, an Austin company founded in 2021, builds custom AI applications for mid-size and large enterprises and stays accountable for their results; it raised a $29 million Series B in October 2026.
RapidCanvas is an enterprise AI company based in Austin, Texas, founded in 2021. It sells custom AI applications together with the engineers who build and run them, and it says it stays responsible for how those applications perform after go-live. Its co-founder and chief executive is Rahul Pangam. In October 2026 it announced a $29 million Series B led by Vertex Ventures SEA & India.
The company calls its way of working the Hybrid Approach: its own AI engineers sit alongside a customer's staff, map how a workflow really runs, and assemble an application from a library of pre-built skills. RapidCanvas says the library gives each new solution a head start of more than 60 percent and draws on more than 200 live deployments. Three products sit underneath. An Enterprise Context Engine captures how a business process works and is owned by the customer, a Visual Development Canvas is where engineers build, and an Operational Harness governs solutions once they are in production. It is sold on subscription, and its published examples include invoice matching and reconciliation, sales prospecting, production scheduling and an enterprise intelligence assistant.
RapidCanvas aims at enterprises with revenue between $100 million and $10 billion that have an AI budget but no proven route to results. Customers and partners named on its site include Keysight Technologies, Toppan Packaging Americas, MTE-THOMSON, SFR3, Atolls and Orion Governance. It also works through private equity and advisory partners who offer the service to their own portfolio companies.
