OpenCart

OpenCart is an open-source online store platform written in PHP. One administration area can run several stores at once, and day-to-day work is done by filling in forms and saving them. It is aimed at businesses ranging from local shops to large companies.

What OpenCart offers

• Store management — products, customers, orders, tax rules and coupon codes are handled from one back end.
• Extensions marketplace — a catalogue of more than 13,000 modules and themes covering payments, shipping, marketing, accounting, reporting and language packs.
• Built-in SEO — search optimisation features come with the core software.
• OpenCart Cloud — a hosted option on Amazon infrastructure, so a store owner does not need to arrange hosting; several plans suit different business sizes.
• Support — a community forum with registered members, plus a dedicated technical support service.
