RemotePC

RemotePC is remote access software from IDrive Inc. It lets users reach Windows, Mac and Linux computers from another computer, from iOS or Android devices, or from a web browser with the Viewer Lite client. It is sold to individuals, small teams and companies. A separate HelpDesk plan covers on-demand support for customers, with unlimited technicians.

The feature pages list:

• always-on unattended access, and one-time access by sharing an Access ID and Key;
• file transfer and remote printing;
• session recording, saved locally;
• chat and sticky notes, and a whiteboard;
• multiple monitors and remote reboot.

The Enterprise plan adds Active Directory and single sign-on. Connections are protected with TLS 1.2 and AES-256 encryption, according to the vendor.

• Solo, one computer: US$2.95 a month billed monthly.
• Pro, ten computers: US$9.95 a month or US$199 a year.
• Team, 50 computers: US$29.95 a month or US$599 a year.
• Enterprise, 100 computers: US$59.95 a month or US$1,199 a year.
• HelpDesk: from US$99.50 a year.
