Linkener raises €7.5m from Alantra's Klima fund for energy software
The Valencia company, which says it serves more than 2,000 business customers and 10,000 supply points, will also use the round to buy…
Linkener is a Valencia software company whose energy management platform measures company supply points with its own telemetry, validates electricity invoices and uses AI to find savings for businesses across Spain.
Linkener is a Spanish company in Valencia that sells a smart energy management system, known in Spanish as a Sistema Inteligente de Gestión Energética, to businesses and public bodies. The platform measures electricity supplies in real time, checks each invoice against actual consumption and the contract, and uses AI to point out savings. A team of in-house engineers then carries those savings out. The company says it does this without asking customers to change their electricity contract.
Linkener describes its work in four steps: measure, validate, optimise and execute. For measurement it offers its own telemetry, which it says installs without works or supply cuts and gives data down to the minute, alongside data pulled from the Datadis platform and connections to smart meters, inverters and batteries. The platform has 17 modules. Among them are an invoice validator, a power optimiser, tools for reactive energy charges and excess penalties, real-time alerts, a claims manager, automatic reports, forecasts and a multi-site dashboard. Link·IA is its AI energy agent. Linkener says its own measurements give customers data they can use to dispute invoices. Pricing on its FAQ starts at 7.5 euros per supply point per month.
The site groups its solutions by sector (supermarkets, hotels, industry, retail, restaurants, public administration, healthcare, buildings and offices) and by role, including energy advisers, engineering firms and retailers of energy. Linkener also offers turnkey solar installation, battery storage and electrical engineering projects. It says it has more than 2,000 customers and has managed 2.4 TWh of energy. It also reports an average saving of 24 percent per customer, and these figures are its own.
According to its history page, Linkener started as an engineering business, validated its digital solution with customers, and then received a EUR 2 million investment from GoHub Ventures for the software. It later reached 5,000 monitored points and added turnkey engineering, then put more weight on customers and AI. It says it has more than 40 people and more than 14 years of experience, and states a goal of becoming the sector's reference by 2028.
