DriveX is a Japanese company, founded on 22 February 2022 and based in the Jingumae district of Shibuya, Tokyo. Its main product is Smart Production Planning (Smart Seisan Keikaku), an AI scheduler for manufacturers described as a next-generation advanced planning and scheduling system. The company argues that many factories still rely on Excel and the experience of a few skilled planners, and that overtime is used to cover gaps. The software takes equipment capacity, staff, materials, processes, set-up changes, priorities, delivery dates and site rules into account and proposes production sequences and equipment assignments. Functions include editing plans on a Gantt chart, real-time replanning after breakdowns, shortages or order changes, comparing plan with actual results, registering shop-floor know-how through natural language or rules, and linking data from ERP, MES, MRP, Excel and CSV files. Implementation proceeds in stages over a few months and is tailored to each plant. DriveX also plans AI agents for work around production planning. The company page lists 26 staff including contractors and certification to an information security standard. The site is in Japanese.
