How this is ranked About this edition

Flagship ranking · Q4 2026 edition

This page ranks advertising companies across India, from digital marketing and SEO agencies to branding and campaign houses that have worked since the 1980s. TrustList lists 283 of them, and 55 earned a rank number in the Q4 2026 edition. Among the ranked, seven are Google partners, two cite ISO 9001 and one cites ISO 27001. Forty-three state a founding date, most of them in the 2010s (25) or the 2000s (9). The most common bases are New Delhi and Mumbai (five each), with Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad at four each.

Places are set by the evidence TrustList held on 5 October 2026: client reviews, vetting, awards and facts each business states on its own website, which we read and dated. Nobody pays to be placed. A listing with nothing checkable is shown but not ranked, and positions stay as they are until the January 2027 edition. A business can move up by adding client reviews or verified facts to its free profile.

How to choose advertising companies

1. Define what you are buying
Advertising in India ranges from outdoor and field promotion to search, social and messaging campaigns. Decide which channels you need first, then ask each agency to show work in those channels.
2. Ask for reporting you can verify
Agree which numbers will be reported, how often, and whether you keep ownership of ad accounts, analytics and websites so you can take them back if the relationship ends.
3. Check partner claims at source
Platform partner badges can be confirmed on the platform's own directory. Ask for the account details and look them up rather than relying on a logo on the agency's site.
4. Separate fees from media spend
Ask whether advertising budget is paid to the platform directly or through the agency, what markup or management fee applies, and how any minimum term or notice period works.
5. Meet the team on your account
Ask who plans, who creates and who handles your day-to-day contact, and whether work is done in-house or subcontracted. Speak to a client with a comparable budget.
6. Consider language and region
India has many languages and very different regional markets. If you need to reach rural or non-metro audiences, ask for experience in those regions and in the relevant languages.

How is this ranking worked out?

The order comes from what each firm publishes and what has been verified about it, and never from payment:

Profile completeness: the details a buyer needs to judge a firm — what it does, who it serves, how it prices, who it has worked for
Earned trust: verification, awards and the other checks a firm has actually passed
Client reviews, where they exist: the rating is smoothed, so one five-star review cannot outrank a firm with a hundred good ones, and volume counts with diminishing returns

Client reviews are still rare across this catalogue, so on most lists today the order is set by the first two. A firm near the top is the best-documented and best-verified one we hold, which is not the same claim as the best one to hire. Use the list to build a shortlist, then check the firms yourself.
