Restaurant operations platform that reads existing CCTV cameras to track each table live, alert staff, balance covers across servers and speed table turns, with an optional POS, reservations and scheduling; plans from $40 a month.
Not yet independently verified. The 13 restaurants, 12 percent table-turn cut, 14 percent and $40,000 savings figures are the company's own and none is independently checked. No security certifications seen. Neither its site nor its launch page states where it is based. We will update this when it can be confirmed, and remove this note.
Restaurant cameras already watch the dining room all day, and Shire Intelligence uses that footage as a live data source. It turns the existing CCTV feed into a picture of how far each table is through its meal, rather than relying on historical wait-time averages.
The system notifies servers when guests are ready to order or pay, flags tables that need clearing and seats parties according to each server's live workload, which also prevents double-seating. Tasks are routed to hosts, servers or bussers. The company says this feeds better staffing, reservation, pricing and table-turn decisions.
The cheapest plan, Shire Intelligence, runs alongside a restaurant's current point of sale (POS) and covers camera-based host optimization, staff alerts, automated scheduling, an AI operations assistant and staff efficiency analytics. A fuller Shire POS adds reservations, lower transaction fees, menu pricing recommendations and marketing, with an offline mode that keeps orders, kitchen tickets and supported card payments running when the network drops. An enterprise tier covers multi-location groups. Other modules include a kitchen display, loyalty and gift cards, AI call answering for reservations, and online ordering.
Shire reports it is live in 13 restaurants and has cut table turn time by 12 percent on average. Its site separately claims 14 percent more guests served per month and average annual savings above $40,000 after switching.
Harshith Guduru, the technical founder, has published graph research in Nature and built reinforcement learning systems for real-world operations at Bastazo. Cameron worked on the front lines of restaurant service and Alex managed two large restaurants; they have known each other since kindergarten. The three left Duke and Clemson to work on Shire full time.
