Toogonet

Toogonet, registered in Lisbon as TOOGONET LDA, makes TOOGO, a subscription system for running a travel business. Inbound tour operators created it in 2009 because they could not find one tool that covered their whole operation, and it is still sold as software made by destination management companies (DMCs) for DMCs. It brings trip planning, logistics, bookings, finance and customer service into a single system.

What Toogonet offers

• Trip design — tailor-made quotes for leisure and business travellers.
• Sales and CRM — client records, sales tracking and registrations.
• Logistics — automated sending and tracking of supplier bookings and their payments.
• Finance — analysis by group, market and trip type, account tracking and accounting export.
• Document editor — quotes, travel books, invoices, vouchers and emails.
• API and AI assistant — links to websites and other tools, plus an assistant called Raimundo.

Who it works with

TOOGO is aimed at DMCs, tour operators and travel agencies of any size that want to stay independent. Its users work in more than 60 destinations, by the firm's count, and Mandala Tours, Shanti Travel and Terra Australia are among named users.
