Procuros

Procuros is a German software company, trading as Procuros GmbH, that connects businesses which trade with each other so that orders, delivery notes and invoices move between their systems without manual typing. It describes itself as "the infrastructure for autonomous trade" and positions its product as a replacement for traditional EDI projects, OCR and manual data entry. In October 2026 it announced a 20 million euro Series A.

What it does

A company connects its ERP to Procuros once and can then exchange documents with each trading partner in whatever format that partner uses: EDIFACT and X12 messages, XML, CSV, Excel, JSON and PDF files, APIs, AS2, SFTP or supplier portals. Procuros translates incoming documents into the customer's ERP, validates and corrects transactions against master data, and hands the context to AI agents that process orders, reconcile invoices and payments and automate logistics. Its other products cover e-invoicing, ERP migration, SSCC shipping labels and master data collection, and developers can build agents through its API, through MCP or in the portal.

Who it serves

Procuros serves both sides of retail trade: suppliers automating order to cash across their retail customers, and retailers automating procure to pay, purchasing, logistics and invoicing with their suppliers. The customers on its website are mostly German consumer brands and retailers, among them KoRo, yfood, Ankerkraut, mymuesli, flaconi, Breuninger, followfood and Little Moons. Niche Beauty says it moved 100 existing suppliers onto Procuros in a single week.
