London supply chain data company that uses satellite data and geospatial AI to map the farms, plantations and mines behind a product, producing EUDR due diligence statements without supplier questionnaires.
Epoch, trading as Epoch Blue Ltd, is a London company that sells what it calls first-mile data for supply chains: information about the farms, plantations and mines where raw materials are produced. Its main use today is compliance with the EU Deforestation Regulation, and it sells both through larger supply chain platforms and, since October 2026, directly to small and mid-sized businesses.
Most supply chain compliance relies on questionnaires sent to suppliers. Epoch starts instead from whatever data a customer already holds, such as supplier names, addresses or facility lists, and uses geospatial AI, satellite-based boundary detection and agentic research to locate facilities and the plots that supply them. Where suppliers provide no plot data, it generates likely sourcing areas itself. From that it assesses deforestation and legality risk and produces a Due Diligence Statement for submission to the EU's TRACES system.
The same data feeds other uses the company lists on its site: water stress, supplier discovery, sustainable sourcing and carbon removals, and evidence for human rights due diligence, the amended Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive and the revised European Sustainability Reporting Standards. Epoch says it monitors more than 250 million hectares and more than 15 million sites. It offers its data through an API suite and a self-serve platform, and customers can also query it through general AI assistants.
Epoch's largest channel is other software platforms. It names Altana, Assent, Resilinc and 3E as partners that have integrated its data or are doing so, and says together they give more than 30,000 enterprises access. Resilinc announced its integration in September 2026. Epoch also sells to suppliers and, through its self-serve product, to small and mid-sized importers facing the regulation's later application date.
