Kuro raises 10 million euro round led by UVC Partners for AI platform used by general contractors
Berlin construction-software company Kuro announced a EUR 10 million round led by UVC Partners on 30 September 2026, to extend its AI…
Kuro, based in Berlin, builds an AI knowledge graph platform for general contractors in the construction industry. The company's premise is that every project relearns what earlier projects already knew, and it aims to build a layer that remembers. Its graph links documents, project elements and decisions, and every fact is meant to be traceable to the page, sentence or drawing region it came from. Its site sets out four technical problems it is working on. The first is reading mixed formats such as scanned PDFs, large CAD drawings, email threads, bills of quantities and site photos. The second is resolving identity, so that one subcontractor named in six different ways is recognised as a single company, with merges that can be reversed. The third is connecting text, such as a paragraph in a change order, to the correct element in a building information model in IFC format. The fourth is versioning, so the graph can show what a room, price or responsibility looked like at an earlier date and which document changed it. Contradictions between documents are kept with their sources.
