Dapta raises $6m to sell AI sales agents to Spanish-speaking founders

13 October 2026: Dapta, which lets small businesses build AI agents that answer and qualify sales leads by phone, text or WhatsApp in English or Spanish, has raised a $6 million seed round led by Chingona Ventures. Crew Capital and Cometa joined, with Broom Ventures, 500 Global and Fen Ventures also taking part.

Not yet independently verified. The growth figures are Dapta's own, and the company's post does not state where it is headquartered or when it was founded. We will update this when it can be confirmed, and remove this note.

The bet on founders who buy in Spanish

Chief executive and co-founder Nicolas Rojas frames the round around one market: business owners in the US who "learn, decide and buy" in a language other than English, starting with Spanish speakers. He says the company brought an acquisition engine from Latin America, teaching owners AI in Spanish, offering a free product and letting non-technical founders build their own agents, and found it worked almost unchanged for Spanish-speaking founders in the US. "Spanish is our first language, not our last," he writes.

The money is for "winning our category in the US": more content and community for Spanish-speaking founders, more people helping customers grow, and agents that run the front office on their own.

What the product does

Dapta starts with sales because, Rojas argues, the return is immediate: an agent answers every lead within seconds, qualifies it and books an appointment. Customers then add follow-ups, reactivation of old leads, client intake and customer service. Owners describe what they want in plain language and Dapta's own agent, Dapti, builds it, connected to their calendar and CRM, with no implementation partner. The company teaches through daily office hours, weekly webinars and in-person workshops.

Dapta's figures: about 4,000 new businesses join each week, almost all through its own content; revenue doubled in the past six months and the annual run-rate has passed $4 million; it has paying customers in 26 countries, from small service firms to Mercado Libre and Rappi; and more than 50 paying customers have expanded their usage tenfold or more within six months. It quotes the chief operating officer of Aether Mechanical saying Dapta helped grow revenue "upwards of 20 percent."

Where it sits

Refresh Miami, which reported the round, says Dapta was founded in Miami, also operates from Scottsdale, Arizona, and has raised $7.4 million in total. Its pitch puts it against AI receptionist and voice-agent tools aimed at small businesses, with language and community as the difference rather than features. Our CRM software category lists 6 products.
