Universal Robots UR12e: 12.5 kg payload and 1300 mm reach, described by the maker as its best-selling industrial cobot, with a CB7 variant for PolyScope X.

Universal Robots calls the UR12e its best-selling industrial cobot. It is the largest arm in the e-Series, with a 12.5 kg payload, a 1300 mm reach and a 4 m/s maximum tool centre point speed. The maker positions it for heavy lifting and moving tasks that free skilled operators for other work.
Compared with the UR7e, the UR12e adds payload and a much longer reach, and it weighs 33.5 kg. Compared with the UR16e, it trades some payload for roughly 400 mm more reach. The e-Series overview quotes a pose repeatability of plus or minus 0.05 mm for this model, slightly looser than the 0.03 mm quoted for the smaller UR3e and UR7e.
The page lists material handling, welding, machine tending and assembly. For electronics manufacturing it mentions larger assemblies and reaching several stations; for automotive, welding, material transfer and mid-payload repetitive assembly; for metal fabrication and machining, welding and CNC tending of larger parts; and for lab automation, scaling up applications with a bigger footprint.
The flange carries the e-Series M8 8-pin female connector to EN ISO 9409-1-50-4-M6, with 12 V or 24 V power, two digital I/O (sinking or sourcing) and two analog inputs or one RS-485 channel.
The UR12e-1300 keeps the same figures but runs on Gen 7 compute, with the CB7 controller and TP7 Core teach pendant. Universal Robots says the extra headroom keeps complex workflows running smoothly and opens up PolyScope X, faster program execution and expanded connectivity compared with the base e-Series configuration.
