This page ranks accounting firms in Dubai, from long-established audit practices to small bookkeeping and tax services. TrustList lists 55 of them, and 16 earned a rank number in the Q4 2026 edition. Among the ranked, three cite ISO 9001, one holds a professional accreditation and one is a Microsoft partner. Thirteen state a founding date, from the 1970s to the 2010s, and 12 of the 16 are based in Dubai itself.

How to choose accounting firms

1. Check the licence you need
Ask which authority licenses the firm to audit for your kind of company, mainland or a specific free zone, and whether it is registered as a tax agent. Confirm this with the authority rather than relying on a logo.
2. Separate audit from accounting
Many firms offer both, but an auditor should be independent of the books it checks. Ask how the firm keeps the two teams apart if it prepares your accounts and also audits them.
3. Ask about VAT and corporate tax
Find out who files your returns, who answers tax authority queries and whether support continues after registration. Ask for examples of businesses of your size and activity that the firm already looks after.
4. Agree scope and fees in writing
Request a written engagement letter listing what is included, the fee basis, and extra charges for backlog clean-ups, liquidations or authority reviews. Clear scope avoids disputes when a deadline is tight.
5. Find out who does the work
Ask which partner signs your file and which staff handle day-to-day tasks. Large networks and small offices both work well, but you should know who is accountable and how quickly they reply.
