Flai raises $27m Series A led by Base10 for dealership AI agents
The US start-up founded in 2025 also launched an AI-native service and sales CRM, and says revenue grew more than 20 times in its first…
US AI platform that answers calls, books service appointments and follows up leads for car dealerships, connecting to their CRM and dealer management systems; raised a $27m Series A.
Flai makes AI software that handles customer communication for car dealerships in the United States. It answers incoming calls, books appointments, contacts customers who are due a service, and follows up sales leads, with the aim of recovering enquiries that dealers would otherwise miss.
The offer is split by department. Service AI picks up calls at any hour, schedules appointments, reaches out to customers whose cars are due for work, tracks customer satisfaction and monitors how service advisers perform. Sales AI covers calls after hours and overflow calls, revives dormant leads, replies to internet enquiries immediately and qualifies potential buyers.
The software connects to the systems a dealership already uses, including customer relationship management, dealer management and scheduling tools. The company says most dealerships go live within seven days, and that customers report recovering between 25 and 35 per cent of missed calls.
Its site lists more than eighteen dealer groups as users, among them Freeman Toyota, Findlay Chevrolet and Audi Marin, and describes the audience as everything from independent shops to large groups. The company, operating as Flai Technologies Inc., says it raised a 27 million dollar Series A led by Base10 Partners. Prices are not published.
