Stuut raises $52.5m Series B for AI agents that run order-to-cash
The New York company closed the round ten months after its Series A and plans to add credit, lending and fund movement to its receivables…
New York company whose AI coworker runs order-to-cash for finance teams: collections outreach by email, SMS and voice, cash application, payments, disputes and order management inside the customer's ERP.
Stuut sells an AI coworker for the order-to-cash process. Instead of alerting staff to tasks, the company says its agents do the work across thousands of customers and invoices at once, until payments reach the bank. It serves finance teams in businesses of many kinds, with government and healthcare among the sectors named on its site.
The product covers five areas. Collections sends outreach by email, SMS and voice before invoices go overdue. Cash application matches incoming payments to invoices within the ERP. Payments handles processing with click-to-pay links. Disputes and deductions investigates and resolves claims on its own, and order management validates orders, checks pricing and completes missing data. A credit evaluation function is listed as coming soon.
Stuut was co-founded by Tarek Alaruri, who is chief executive, and Ben Winter, the chief operating officer, who met at Fairmarkit. The company is based in New York City and names Andreessen Horowitz, Khosla Ventures, Activant Capital, Insight Partners and M12 as investors. Its argument is that manual processes cost businesses about 5 per cent of revenue they have already earned. Pricing is by demo.
