osConcert

osConcert is open source ticketing software written in PHP and adapted from a shopping cart platform. Organisations install and host it themselves, which means they keep control of their sales and their customer data. It is built mainly for events where seats are reserved.

What osConcert offers

• Visual seating layouts — seating plans created and integrated for theatre seat reservation.
• General admission ticketing — event sales without seat selection, with no cap on numbers.
• Box office system — a counter-sales tool alongside the online shop.
• PDF e-tickets — tickets issued as downloadable documents.
• Barcode scanning — entry checks using the codes on those tickets.

Who it works with

The makers point to theatres, churches, schools and dinner dances, among other groups that run ticketed events.
