Actuator

Actuator, which trades as Actuator Digital, helps founders turn ideas into games and digital products. It supplies senior technical direction and development from concept to release, with an in-house team that covers design, prototyping and engineering rather than outsourcing work.

What Actuator offers

• Game development — building and supporting games, including VR titles for Meta Quest.
• Co-development — joining an existing team to add technical capacity.
• Software development — apps and digital products beyond games.
• Technical reports — assessments to set a practical path for a project.
• Design and prototyping — branding, wireframes, graphic design and 2D and 3D art, including prototypes used to raise funding.

Its portfolio spans VR games such as HITMAN 3 VR: Reloaded, mining payload monitoring software, drone-based livestock mustering, a toy companion app and an interactive exhibit for a children's research institute in Australia.
