28 September 2026 — Five deals announced between 24 and 28 September 2026 change who stands behind software and services that businesses in the UK, Croatia, France, Poland and the US depend on. Each is taken from the parties' own announcements. Where a price was not stated by the parties, none is given.

IBM acquires Logiq Consulting (United Kingdom)

IBM said from London on 24 September that it has acquired Logiq Consulting, a UK cybersecurity consultancy working in defence, critical national infrastructure, the public sector and regulated industries. Logiq developed and operates DISX, a sovereign collaboration platform that government suppliers use to exchange sensitive information with UK government and defence bodies. Logiq joins IBM Consulting's cybersecurity services. Terms were not disclosed. Customers should check: change-of-control clauses in contracts, and where DISX data is held and by whom once it sits inside IBM.

HCLSoftware to acquire Robotiq.ai (Croatia)

HCLSoftware, the software business of India's HCLTech, announced on 28 September its intent to acquire Robotiq.ai, a Zagreb-based robotic process automation platform used, it says, by large banks, insurers and telecom providers. Robotiq.ai will become part of HCL UnO Agentic. "The acquisition is expected to close in November 2026." No price was given. Customers should check: the product roadmap, licensing and support terms after November, before signing renewals.

Shine (Cegid) acquires Libeo (France)

Libeo, a French platform for managing and paying supplier invoices used by more than 3,000 companies and accounting firms, announced on 28 September that it has joined Shine, which combined with Cegid in 2026. The whole team and both co-founders join Shine. Libeo's co-founder says there will be no changes: "same product, same team, same conditions." Customers should check: payment and e-invoicing integrations, and any notice of new terms, as the products are combined.

Euvic takes over Fellowmind Poland

Fellowmind, a Microsoft business-applications partner, said on 25 September that its Polish business has been sold to Euvic and is now Euvic Business Applications Sp. z o.o., led by Daniel Olejniczak. Fellowmind continues in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and the Netherlands and will work with Euvic, including on managed services. Customers should check: the contracting entity on invoices and service agreements, and who holds their support obligations.

Valley National Bancorp to acquire Bluevine (United States)

Valley National Bancorp and Bluevine, a Jersey City-based digital banking platform for small businesses, announced a definitive agreement on 28 September, for consideration the parties put at about $340 million in cash and stock. Closing is expected in early 2027, subject to regulatory approval. Bluevine says accounts, pricing and terms stay the same until then. Customers should check: nothing now; watch for migration notices after closing.
