Limnu

Limnu is a browser-based whiteboard designed to feel like drawing with a marker on a real board. Teams sketch process flows, state diagrams and storyboards on it during video meetings, and tutors use it to work through maths problems with students. Andrew Kunz, formerly of Microsoft, DreamWorks Animation and Lucasfilm, is named as founder and chief executive.

What Limnu offers

• Unbounded canvas — smooth drawing with no edges, and anyone can start sketching without signing up.
• Collaboration — unlimited collaborators, sharing with anyone whatever their account, and a follow mode that keeps everyone viewing the same part of the board.
• Board organisation — search, sort and bulk editing, with saved boards on Pro and Team plans.
• Team controls — settings that limit sharing to an organisation or fine-tune privacy and security.
• Video calling — built-in calls on the Pro and Team plans.
• API — lets developers place Limnu boards inside their own apps or sites, unbranded and with no account needed for users.
