Conceptboard

Conceptboard is an online whiteboard from Halle (Saale), Germany, that joins visual teamwork with task tracking on the same board. Daniel Bohn and Christian Schröder founded it in 2010, and it reports more than 14 million users at 6,500 customer organisations. Security comes first: it states ISO certification and GDPR compliance and keeps all data on servers in Germany.

What Conceptboard offers

• Whiteboard — boards a team works on together, live or in its own time, for workshops, design thinking, wireframes, brainstorms, roadmaps and agile planning.
• Tasks — board content turns into to-dos that carry an owner, a due date and tags for searching.
• Visual project management — Kanban and other workflows for tracking responsibilities.
• Hosting choice — cloud, a dedicated server or on-premises installation.
• Organisation controls — access governed by roles and permissions, and connection to the tools an organisation already runs.
• Public sector access — offered through the German Administrative Cloud (DVC), with help for tenders and procurement.

Who it works with

Public administration, defence and critical infrastructure operators, pharma and healthcare firms, schools and universities, and large companies; named customers include Siemens and the Gothaer insurance group.
