KOLG is a Tokyo software company that builds KOLC+, a BIM/CIM cloud for sharing 3D models and point clouds on construction and public-works projects, used as an information-sharing system on MLIT projects.
KOLG, Inc. (株式会社コルク) is a Japanese software company in Nishi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo, that plans, develops and runs KOLC+, a cloud service for the construction industry. It was founded in September 2012 and holds ISO/IEC 27001 certification for information security.
KOLC+ is a cloud service, built in Japan, for bringing together, sharing and using BIM/CIM models and point clouds on construction projects. KOLG says it is used for construction management on civil and building work at large contractors, for project oversight at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) and infrastructure companies, and as the information-sharing system (ASP) through which clients and contractors exchange documents and approvals on public projects. Recent ASP functions include workflow lists with editable subjects and reply dates, tag filters, read tracking with daily reminder emails, changeable approval routes and two-factor authentication on by default. In September 2026 the product met MLIT's mandatory requirements for information-sharing systems on construction work, excluding the conditional ones.
KOLC+ was released in November 2020, and KOLG says more than 500 firms use it. The customers named on its site include MLIT, Obayashi, Shimizu, Taisei, Toa Corporation, Tokyu Construction and CTI Engineering. KOLG belongs to industry groups for construction software and information-sharing systems, including J-COMSIA and CISSA. From April 2027 it will add a single-project ASP plan at ¥10,000 a month alongside its 3D and Light plans.
The representative director is Masao Tsutsumi, who studied civil engineering at Kumamoto University's graduate school and worked in product development at the aerial survey company PASCO and in new business development at Recruit Communications before KOLG. Ichiro Kobayashi, professor emeritus at Kumamoto University, advises the company on CIM.
