Avante builds enterprise AI for employee benefits. It targets the work done by benefits and HR teams at large employers: reading plan documents, contracts and claims, answering leadership's cost questions, preparing renewals, and answering the benefits questions employees send to HR. The legal entity named in its terms is Avante Health, Inc. This is a different business from the Avante video company already listed in this directory.

What it does

The platform has two agents that share one model of the customer's program. Ava is an assistant for benefits teams. It produces reports, analyses, communications and vendor reviews, tracks deadlines and trends, and flags items that need attention. Carly is the employee-facing assistant, answering benefits questions around the clock, in more than 80 languages according to the About page. Questions employees ask feed back to the team, showing which benefits are confusing.

Underneath are three layers the company names. The Vault collects plan documents, claims, eligibility and vendor information into one governed store and reads multi-tier tables and nested rules. The Ontology maps plans, programs and eligibility rules across countries and units, and audit agents flag missing or conflicting documents. A self-improving loop updates the model when new documents arrive and keeps humans in control of changes. The company states that every answer is cited and evaluated, and that customer data does not train models. Avante works inside existing tools and lists Slack, Teams, email, ServiceNow and Workday.
