The Fluid user interface is described as intuitive and flexible, with configuration and personalization so that casual users, power users, administrators and executives each see the information they want on any device. Analytics can be tailored to each user, and tools are provided to configure and customize the software in a sustainable way.

Selective adoption of updates

New functionality arrives continuously, and customers choose which updates to take and when. Oracle calls this selective adoption and says it lowers the cost of ownership while still delivering new features to the business faster.

On premises or in the cloud

PeopleSoft can stay on premises or run on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, which Oracle says is faster, cheaper and easier to run and maintain. Customers can also extend it by integrating with complementary Oracle cloud solutions.

Support commitment and the route to Fusion

Oracle has extended its rolling ten-year support commitment for PeopleSoft through at least 2037. It also describes migration paths for customers that decide to move to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP for finance or Fusion Cloud HCM for human resources. A PeopleSoft Innovators program, running since 2017, publishes customer-approved stories about newly deployed features, products and transformation work.
