LeanMail

LeanMail is a group of add-ins that bolt onto Microsoft Outlook to help people manage heavy email loads. Each module works independently and can be combined with others to fit how a person or team works. The vendor states that it never touches user data.

Features

• InstantArchive: one smart folder plus meta-tagging to file and find messages quickly.
• Plan: turns Outlook into a task list, with notes and deadlines added to emails in the inbox.
• Shared Inbox: lets a team see who is handling what and when, and answer priority customers first.
• Inbox480: separates non-essential mail from essential mail without relying on algorithms.
• Prioritisation: based on the 80/20 principle, to avoid missing important messages.
