Zeekr X

The Zeekr X is the compact one in Zeekr's range, and it suits city drivers who want a premium, well-equipped electric SUV that is easy to place on a narrow street. It measures 4,450 mm long and 1,572 mm high on a 2,750 mm wheelbase, and Zeekr calls it a new premium versatile SUV. Zeekr's figures come from initial testing of a Mainland China model and may vary.

Battery, power and charging

The X has a 66 kWh lithium-ion battery and a CLTC range of 512 km. The all-wheel-drive version produces 315 kW and 543 N.m from permanent magnet synchronous motors and does 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. One socket serves AC and DC charging and sits behind a cover in the rear fender, so the body surface stays unbroken.

Inside the cabin

A microfibre headliner covers 1.82 square metres, and 17 sets of ambient lights can pulse in time with music. The 13-speaker Yamaha surround sound system, a 1.21 square metre arc-shaped panoramic roof and a two-tone reading light add to the equipment. The cockpit runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip with 16 GB of memory and 128 GB of storage, with an AR head-up display and a voice assistant that controls music, navigation and temperature.

Exterior

The headlights integrate daytime running lights, width indicators and turn signals using 56 independently controlled LEDs. The full-width tail light uses lightweight organic glass with 229 LEDs, and the frameless front mirrors fold electrically and remember their position.

Driver assistance and safety equipment

Zeekr AD uses five high-definition cameras, five millimeter-wave radars and twelve ultrasonic radars, and the car gets over-the-air updates. The internal anti-collision beams use an eight-tube multi-layer structure. Six airbags are fitted, with front airbags that wrap around the passenger and side curtain airbags that extend to the A-pillar.
