Sources in Vehicle factsThe 7X is Zeekr's five-seat luxury SUV, and it suits buyers who want fast charging and strong acceleration in a family-sized body. Zeekr describes it with a clamshell bonnet, a floating-roof look and fully automatic frameless doors, and it sits alongside the 001, 009, X and Luxury Sedan on the company's global site. Zeekr's figures come from initial testing of a Mainland China model, and final data may vary.
Two batteries are offered: a 75 kWh second-generation Golden Battery and a 100 kWh Kirin Battery. The system runs at 800V with a maximum charging rate of 5.5C. On the 75 kWh pack Zeekr quotes 10 to 80 percent in 10.5 minutes, and says a five-minute charge gives two hours of highway driving. The 100 kWh pack reaches up to 780 km on the CLTC cycle, and a 15-minute charge adds 546 km of range.
The silicon carbide electric drive delivers 475 kW and 710 N.m in the all-wheel-drive version, which accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. Zeekr quotes a 34.9 m stop from 100 km/h.
The seats are Nappa full-grain leather, and the rear power reclining seats have eight massage points, six massage modes, ventilation, heating and memory. A 4,673 mm ambient light strip wraps the cabin with 11 lighting zones. The boot holds 616 L, enough for three 28 inch suitcases. A 16 inch 3.5K Mini-LED central display runs on the 8295 cockpit platform, and the ZEEKR Sound Pro audio system has 21 speakers, 2,160 W of peak power and Dolby Atmos. A smart B-pillar system with a 3D camera uses facial recognition to lock and open the car.
Zeekr Intelligent Driving 2.0 uses one lidar, eleven high-definition cameras, five millimeter-wave radars and twelve ultrasonic radars, and the car receives over-the-air updates. The body is a steel and aluminium hybrid with single-piece die-cast rear aluminium parts. A window breaker sits at the top of the driver-side door storage compartment, and the child seat can be fitted with a deployable airbag.
