Lucid Gravity

What it is

The Lucid Gravity is the battery-electric SUV from Lucid Motors. For the 2027 model year it is offered in three trims: Touring, Grand Touring and GT-S. All use all-wheel drive. The body is 198.2 inches long on a 119.5 inch wheelbase, 65.2 inches tall and 87.2 inches wide including mirrors. The maker quotes a drag coefficient of 0.24 and a turning circle of 38.4 feet kerb to kerb.

Performance and range

The Touring is rated at 560 hp and reaches 60 mph in 4.0 seconds. The Grand Touring has 828 hp and takes 3.4 seconds. The GT-S is rated at 1,070 hp and takes 3.1 seconds. Range is listed as up to 337 miles for the Touring and up to 450 miles for the Grand Touring on the EPA estimate. The GT-S shows a projected 373 miles, with its official EPA figure still pending. The Grand Touring with the towing package is projected to pull up to 6,000 pounds.

Space and charging

The Gravity seats up to seven adults and offers up to 120 cubic feet of cargo space in its five-seat layout. Wheels range from 20 to 23 inches. For charging, the page gives the time to add 200 miles: 15 minutes on a 350 kW charger for the Touring, under 11 minutes on a 400 kW charger for the Grand Touring and 14 minutes on a 400 kW charger for the GT-S.

Driver assistance and software

Driver assistance is sold as the optional DreamDrive 2 package, which Lucid says supports the driver rather than replacing attention. The Lucid Mobile App is linked from the model page.
