A battery-electric luxury saloon sold in four trims for the 2027 model year, from a 430 hp Pure to a 1,234 hp Sapphire.
Made by Lucid Motors
The Lucid Air is a battery-electric luxury saloon from Lucid Motors, which describes the car as designed in California and assembled in America. For the 2027 model year the maker lists four trims: Pure, Touring, Grand Touring and Sapphire. Each trim shares the same body, which measures 195.9 inches long on a 116.5 inch wheelbase and stands 55.4 inches tall.
Power rises steeply across the line-up. The Pure is rated at 430 hp and reaches 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. The Touring has 620 hp and takes 3.4 seconds. The Grand Touring produces 819 hp and takes 3.0 seconds, while the Sapphire is rated at 1,234 hp with a 1.89 second sprint. Range figures on the page are the maker's own projections: 420 miles for the Pure, 431 for the Touring, 512 for the Grand Touring and 427 for the Sapphire. The page says official EPA estimates will follow when they are available.
The page states how long each trim needs to add 200 miles on a fast charger: 16 minutes for the Pure and Touring, 12 minutes for the Grand Touring and 15 minutes for the Sapphire. A Lucid home charging station is offered that adds up to 80 miles of range per hour. Driver assistance is sold as DreamDrive Premium, with blind spot warning included and surround view monitoring and a blind spot display offered as options. The Lucid Mobile App comes with every Lucid vehicle and pairs the car with a phone.
The interior centres on a 34 inch glass cockpit display and a 12.5 inch pilot panel. Buyers choose from four colour schemes and can add a panoramic glass canopy. Heated, ventilated and massaging front seats are available on selected trims.
