Fiat 600e

Overview

The Fiat 600e is the electric version of the 600, a five-door, five-seat small SUV sold by Fiat in the UK. The brand's UK page lists it among electric, hybrid and petrol options and says the range starts from £26,995 on the road, with a £1,500 Electric Car Grant applied.

Range and charging

Fiat quotes up to 254 miles, or 409 km, on the WLTP combined cycle, and the page's example car carries a 54 kWh battery. DC charging is supported up to 100 kW, which the page says takes the battery from 20 to 80 percent in about 27 minutes. AC charging goes up to 11 kW, and a 7.4 kW home wallbox usually needs 7 to 8 hours for a full charge. Fiat notes that cold weather can cut range by 10 to 20 percent.

Trims

Three trims are offered. Pop starts at £26,995 and includes 17 inch alloys, a 10.25 inch touchscreen and wireless smartphone mirroring. Icon starts at £27,995. La Prima starts at £29,995 and adds adaptive cruise control with Level 2 autonomous driving and stop and go, blind spot detection, a 360 degree parking sensor set, heated seats and a massaging driver seat. A Sport version is also listed from £29,995.

Connected services

The Fiat app handles remote functions such as locking the car and flashing the lights, drive alerts, trip reports and battery preconditioning. Charging access runs through Free2move Charge and the Electroverse network from Octopus Energy.
