Kambda

Kambda is a nearshore software engineering firm in Costa Rica that supplies developers to software-as-a-service companies in the United States. Its engineers work in US time zones and join the client's own sprints and tools. The firm says most clients have people working within five to ten business days.

Services

• Staff augmentation: one or more senior developers placed inside a client's team, with Kambda handling recruiting, vetting, HR and payroll.
• AI-augmented development: engineers who use AI coding assistants as standard, plus work on chatbots, retrieval pipelines, document AI and embeddings.
• Product teams: a dedicated group that owns an initiative from architecture and design through development, testing and delivery.
• Architecture and modernisation: system assessments, roadmaps and help breaking up a monolith.
• Cloud and DevOps: AWS and Azure infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and production monitoring.
• QA and test automation: manual and automated testing embedded in sprints or run as separate engagements.

Clients

The firm targets engineering leaders at B2B software companies that need capacity faster than US hiring allows, including teams adding AI features or building integration-heavy platforms.
