Ricksoft takes 39% of Atlassian partner Information Officer

29 October 2026: Ricksoft, the Tokyo company that sells and implements Atlassian products in Japan, has completed its purchase of a stake in Information Officer Pte. Ltd., a Singapore IT consultancy built around Jira and Confluence, and the firm now operates as Ricksoft Singapore Pte. Ltd. Ricksoft announced the completion and the change of name on 29 October.

Not yet independently verified. Neither company has stated the price. The 39% stake comes from Ricksoft's June notice; the October release does not repeat it. We will update this when it can be confirmed, and remove this note.

In its notice of 22 June, Ricksoft said its board had resolved to acquire 39% of the Singapore company's issued shares, and that Information Officer LLC, its sister company in Berkeley, California, would become a wholly owned subsidiary of the Singapore firm as part of the deal. Neither announcement gives a price.

What Ricksoft is buying into

Information Officer was founded in 2010 and works from Singapore and California for customers from South-East Asia to the United States. It is an Atlassian Silver Solution Partner whose core work is implementing and customising Jira and Confluence and moving customers from Data Center to cloud. On top of that it offers IT service management on Jira Service Management, DevSecOps and cloud work, digital transformation and AI consulting, and resells, licenses and runs the related software as managed services, with training and support. Its customers, Ricksoft says, span finance, government and the public sector, telecoms, technology, logistics, education and professional services.

Ross Lindell stays as president and chief executive. "We are excited to begin this next chapter with Ricksoft," he said in June, pointing to the firm's 15 years of consulting and managed services across Singapore, North America and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

A three-company group around one vendor

With the deal done, Ricksoft describes a group with three roles:

  • Ricksoft Co., Ltd. in Tokyo, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth market (4429), which sells and implements Atlassian and related tools in Japan;
  • Ricksoft, Inc. in the United States, a wholly owned subsidiary that builds and sells Ricksoft's own Atlassian add-on apps;
  • Ricksoft Singapore, an affiliate rather than a subsidiary, covering South-East Asia and the Asia-Pacific region with professional services in ITSM, DevSecOps and cloud migration.

Ricksoft's pitch is aimed at Japanese companies with operations abroad and at multinational teams: implementation and support in both Japanese and English, and combined experience of large cloud migrations.
