IT services is the broadest label in this directory and covers, at different firms, entirely different work: managed infrastructure and helpdesk, project-based software delivery, cloud migration, security, procurement, or some combination sold as one relationship. Two providers under this heading may have almost nothing in common.

Because the label is wide, the useful filter is the engagement model rather than the capability list. Is this a retained relationship with a service-level agreement and a monthly cost, or project work quoted per piece? Who is accountable when something breaks at two in the morning, and what does the contract actually promise? A provider that answers those precisely is describing a real service; one that answers in capabilities is describing a brochure.
