Helsinki company whose platform keeps a connected governance record for enterprise AI systems and agents, mapping risks and controls to the EU AI Act and other frameworks for banks, pharma and public bodies.

TrustList summary

Whose agent was it, what was it allowed to do, and can anyone trace it? Saidot, a Helsinki company founded in 2018, builds its product around those three questions. It describes itself as the AI governance system of record for enterprise AI agents, and its pitch is that every agent should have an owner, a mandate and a record, much as an employee has a manager, a role and a file.

A record that is connected, not a list

Saidot says its record maps the models, tools and data each agent depends on, and who owns each part, so that a component governed once passes the right risks and controls to every agent that uses it. When a new model version appears, the platform shows which agents are affected. Agents, systems, models and datasets can be registered in the web application, through a REST API, or by an organisation's own assistants over three MCP servers, with named people reviewing what the assistants draft. Models and agents can also be synchronised from Microsoft Foundry and Amazon Bedrock.

The Saidot Library and the frameworks it maps to

The record does not begin empty. The company says its Library holds more than 260 risks, 620 controls, 110 policies and 170 AI models and products. Controls can be mapped to the EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, the NIST AI RMF and over 110 other policies, with evidence attached once and reused. Webhooks and rules turn events from monitoring tools into incidents and reviews, with notices sent through Slack or Jira. Saidot's own information security management system is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, and the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for AI Governance Platforms lists it as a Niche Player.

BackingMinds leads a round for the US

On 5 November 2026 Saidot announced that BackingMinds had invested, with existing investors Crowberry Capital and Ventic taking part. The amount was not stated. The company says the new capital will strengthen its position in Europe, fund expansion into the United States and pay for its next product step, policy-as-code, in which controls set in Saidot become rules that runtime guardrails enforce. Its site says customers include banks, pharma, media, technology firms and public bodies, among them Fortune 500 companies.
