Mecka AI describes itself as the data and deployment layer for physical AI. It works on the problem of teaching robots to act in the real world by recording how people carry out tasks, then turning those recordings into training material and a route to commercial use.

The company's main dataset is called Egoverse, a large collection of first-person human interaction across many tasks and environments. A mobile app for iOS collects task and environment specific data at scale, and a web interface lets customers browse, visualise and query what has been captured. Its funding announcement says the recordings include motion, contact and force, geometry and hand pose, gathered in homes and commercial settings, and claims sub-centimetre hand-pose accuracy on data captured outside a lab.

Mecka serves robotics research labs, teams building frontier models and enterprises that deploy embodied systems. It says it does not build robots itself. Instead it acts as an integrator that owns the data, integration and evaluation layer between hardware makers, models and commercial partners, and it supports evaluation and deployment of physical workflows.
