Tracks

Tracks is collection management software for zoos and aquariums. It lets staff keep and share animal records, and the maker argues that giving many kinds of staff a stake in the data improves accuracy and decisions.

What Tracks offers

• Animal records — health, husbandry, inventory, training and lab data in one system.
• Custom workflows — speed up daily tasks across departments.
• Commissary kiosk — a touchscreen kiosk for busy nutrition departments.
• Welfare assessments — protocols that can be shared in the Tracks community.
• Data entry app — a new app that was in beta testing.
• Dashboards — animal dashboards that are being upgraded.

Who it works with

Zoos and aquariums. Individual modules can be licensed by facilities that do not use Tracks to manage their inventory.
