Evergreen

Evergreen is open source software for libraries, maintained by a community project. Despite its category on TrustList, it has nothing to do with wineries. It helps patrons find materials and helps staff manage, catalogue and lend them.

What Evergreen offers

• Public catalogue — lets patrons search for library materials.
• Cataloguing — tools for managing records of a collection.
• Circulation — lending and returns, with screens rewritten in Angular.
• Acquisitions — ordering interfaces, including support for EDI shipment notices.
• Geographic sorting — can use the Bing Maps API.

Who it works with

Libraries of any size, including large and complex ones. Support comes through documentation, mailing lists and community chat.
