Not yet independently verified. The launch date rests on the maker’s own launch post of 24 September 2026, and the product’s public code repository dates from July 2026, so it was usable before it was announced. No independent report of the product was found. We will update this when it can be confirmed, and remove this note.

PlaceCall is an API from VOYGR (Voygr Tech, Inc., of Delaware) that makes phone calls to US businesses for an AI agent or application, shown by its makers on 24 September 2026. The agent passes a task and a number, or asks PlaceCall to suggest suitable places when it has no number; PlaceCall calls, navigates the phone menu, waits on hold, carries out the conversation and returns a structured outcome with the transcript and a recording. It can call a list of numbers in parallel, which is the use a business would have for it: checking availability, prices or opening hours across many suppliers at once. It is offered as an API, a plug-in for coding agents and an MCP server. Pricing on its own page: $0.10 per successful call, falling to $0.096 or $0.09 in larger packs; $0.05 per answered place-suggestion request; 250 free calls; no subscription and no per-minute charge. VOYGR publishes separate API terms and a privacy policy. Automated calls to businesses raise questions a buyer should settle first — whether the called party is told it is speaking to an automated system, how recordings are stored and for how long, and the rules on recording calls in the states being called.
