Daminion

Daminion is a digital asset management (DAM) system that gives production, marketing and design teams one searchable library for photos, videos, documents and designs. It can be installed on a company's own servers or NAS, or used through Daminion Cloud, and more than 900 organisations worldwide use it.

What Daminion offers

• Search and metadata — structured tags, metadata and filters for locating files quickly, with previews of many media types.
• AI tagging — automatic keywords and categories from a controlled vocabulary, duplicate and look-alike detection, face recognition, and speech-to-text transcripts and document indexing.
• Version control — a history of each asset so teams can compare revisions and roll back.
• Permissions — granular access rules so each user sees only permitted files.
• Geotagging — a map view that groups photos by where they were taken.
• Flexible deployment — self-hosted on existing file servers, keeping current folders and permissions, or hosted in the cloud.

Who it works with

Production, marketing and design teams in organisations that hold large media archives, including IT managers who want files kept behind their own firewall.
