Bison Software

Bison Software writes and supports point-of-sale and business software for companies in Winnipeg and the surrounding area, and has done so for about 30 years. Because the software is developed in-house, the team can add reports and features that a boxed cash register package would lack. It also supplies the hardware to go with each system.

What Bison Software does

• Retail POS systems: point-of-sale software with stock control, a customer database and accounting built in.
• POS hardware: matching each client with suitable equipment such as scales and programmable keyboards.
• Business systems: integrated invoicing, inventory, customer records, receivables, payables and general ledger.
• Custom development: programming changes and new reports for businesses whose needs standard packages cannot meet.
• Local support: on-site support for software designed in Winnipeg.

Clients

Retailers and other businesses in and around Winnipeg, especially those with processes that off-the-shelf software handles poorly.
