Anvl

Anvl is a software company whose connected worker platform helps industrial businesses run safety, quality and operations checks through a mobile app. Supervisors and frontline staff follow digital procedures and guided workflows, and managers see the results in a live feed. Anvl has since joined Benchmark Gensuite, according to a press note on its site.

What Anvl offers

• Safety tools — behaviour-based safety, near-miss and good-catch reporting, job safety assessments, safety observations and lockout/tagout checks.
• Quality tools — layered process audits and quality inspections carried out on a phone or tablet.
• Operations workflows — digital procedures that replace paper forms for day-to-day tasks.
• Data capture — voice-to-text notes, photos and videos with annotation, and two-way messaging tied to each task.
• Corrective actions — alerts and action tracking so managers can respond while work is under way.

Who it works with

Its resources cover manufacturing, construction, logistics, energy and mining, and it writes about compliance topics such as the US workplace safety regulator's general duty clause.
